County Lú / Louth LU Contao Irish,County Louth in English is located on the west coast of Ireland in the province of Leinster. Su nombre quiere decir en irlandés "el menor", y en consecuencia es el condado de menor tamaño de Irlanda. Its Irish name means "the younger" and therefore is the smallest county in Ireland. La capital del condado de Lú / Louth es Dún Dealgan (en irlandés ) / Dundalk (en inglés ). The county town of Lú / Louth is Dealgan Dún (in Irish) / Dundalk (in English). History

This is a county steeped in myth, legend and history, going back to prehistoric days of the Táin Bó Cuailgne. El condado vivió más adelante la influencia de los vikingos según lo visto en nombre de Carlingford Lough.
